What is the price range of your gowns?

Our made-to-order gowns typically range from around $2,000-$4,500. Majority of our made-to-order gowns average in the $2,500-$3,500 range. Our off-the-rack selection varies, but typically starts around $1,400 and goes up from there.

Does your boutique carry bridesmaid, mother of the bride, prom, or flower girl dresses?

In our boutique we only carry bridal gowns. You can check out our designers here

Do I need an appointment?

East Coast Bridals requires appointments to try on our wedding gowns so we can provide you and your party with one-on-one service. Since our boutique is limited on space we only offer private appointments (one at a time).

Does your boutique charge for an appointment?

At our boutique we love to give the best experience for you and your party. We do charge a $50 bridal appointment fee for Saturday appointments. Your booking fee includes a fully private appointment, seating for an additional 5 guests, and a bottle of champagne to take home and celebrate if you find your dream gown.
If you should need to cancel, your fee will be refunded unless the cancellation is within a 48 hour window of your appointment. If you find your gown at our boutique, your booking fee will be applied to your purchase.

If you are in the beginning stages of shopping for your gown, we do offer weekday appointments with no appointment fee. Weekday appointments are mostly private and are an hour and a half.

Brides are able to bring up to an additional 5 guests. 

How long is a bridal appointment?

Our appointments are an hour to an hour and half. Our bridal appointments are completely private for the bride and their party. During that time the bride can try on 6-10 gowns and we leave time at the end to retry on favorites with accessories.

Can I bring beverages or snacks to my appointment?

We do not allow food or beverages in our boutique. Our space for our bridal parties is next to our gowns and beverages and white dresses don't mix!

Can I bring children with me to my appointment? 

We love little ones! However we are a very small boutique and limited on space. It is much easier to leave the little ones at home so that your stylist and group can focus you! We do ask any children attending with you be above the age of twelve. 

How many people can accompany me to my appointment?

We know it’s the most important dress you’ll ever wear, and you want to make sure it’s absolutely perfect. But having 10 different opinions makes it much harder to come to a consensus—and it can bring you farther away from what you actually want. We ask that no more than 5 additional guests accompany you to your bridal shopping appointment.

How far out should I start shopping for my gown?

Most wedding gowns take 5-8 months to come in, and the alterations process typically takes 2-3 months, depending on the amount of work. We recommend you order your gown 8-10 months before your wedding!

Why is my wedding dress size so much larger than my regular dress size?

Wedding gown sizes typically run one or two sizes smaller than street clothes, so try not to get hung up on the number. Do not fixate on the actual size but instead on how your measurements compare to the particular line on the specific designer’s size chart.

Do you take deposits on gowns?

We require accessories and off-the-rack items to be paid for in full. We offer a 50% dress deposit on orderable gowns. Once your dress comes into the store you would pay your remaining balance.

I said YES! What’s the next step?

When you are ready to order the gown of your dreams, there are a few steps to follow:
– We take your body measurements.
– We decide on a size and discuss any special changes that may be required for the best fit.
– All necessary paperwork is completed and the gown is paid for.

How long will it take for my gown to arrive?

Depending on the manufacturer and custom changes, the gowns could take anywhere from 5-8 months to arrive.

Due to shipping issues and current circumstances all over the world, gowns are taking longer ship times than usual. Shipping is dependent on each designer and manufacturer which can all vary.

Does your salon offer in-house alterations?

Our boutique does not have an in-house seamstress. We have networked with local seamstresses to send our brides to once their gown arrives. 

Note- Alterations are a separate cost from purchasing your wedding gown.

What if my wedding is less than 4 months away?

Don’t worry- we’ve got options!
You can definitely purchase a gown “off-the-rack,” which means you’ll be purchasing a sample that has been previously tried on. These gowns are in excellent condition and are typically reduced in price. We also have some manufacturers that have extremely quick rush options, or some stock options!
